Last year I started this crazy blog and as you can tell by the history I did not do so well keeping up with it. But it is September again and here I am telling myself how helpful a blog would be. I could post every so often so everyone can see what is going on with the family. So once again I will give it a try.

Something is cooking
Ok so I was baking bread when Caeden got home from school the other day. He walks in and says " MOM I can tell you are cooking something because i smell something burning."

Welcome
OK.... OK.... so I have been putting this off for some time. I know I procrastinate too much. Many have been telling me to start a blog and well here we go.
So now what to write that people want to read. I have found that writting in the past comes in waves and right now in my life those waves are created by my little darlings.
We have been so busy lately both kiddos are doing soccer and with school starting I have been to more orientations and parent meetings than I can to admit. I think it is like AA but it is PA ( parents Anonymous) no joke the meetings have been that frequent.
Well with all my running around to these meetings I have driven to the school about 50-75 times easily and it is now only the 14th day of school. Our school has this marque outside so us parents know what is going on. last week on one of my many trips i noticed the marque said " Picture day sep.11 ". So /i wrote the date down in my planner ( which is now lost) and put a reminder on my phone. Then I picked what the darlings would wear and I tried new dos for Cas. i even bought new curlers that were supposed to be AWESOME and they are.
All week I told everyone that it was picture day on Friday!!! Yep I dutifully spread the word so no one would be caught off guard. We rushed home from soccer and I immediately put Cas's hair up in the new curlers.....but i forgot to put spay in first.....So I had to fix it or it would be flat!!!
This morning thanks to all the prep both kids left looking darn cute. It is raining here so I thew a jacked on them and out the door we go. I review how i want the kids to smile in the pics you know no tongue sticking out this year and no creepy skeleton face pls. We get there I run Cas to class and then KD to class. His teacher then says "I wonder why everyone thinks it is picture day????" "What!!! . . . She doesn't know about pictures" YEA I truly thought oh man is she mixed up. Then I realized hummm I was the crazy one mixed up.
OK so it was not just me. Picture day was for the high school next door...oops I know I saw it somewhere.
oh well at least we have practice for the real thing right.
